What if learning phonics didn’t mean sitting at a desk?
What if it meant running, jumping, cartwheeling, and laughing, while still mastering the building blocks of reading?

That’s exactly how the GameFlip - Playful Path into Learning was born!

The Story Behind the Game

One of Karen's students struggled with traditional methods. He simply couldn’t sit still and forcing him only created frustration. One day, he came up with the idea for a game. Together, we turned his idea into a powerful learning tool.

Now, the very approach that unlocked reading for him is here for your child too.

How It Works

  • Setup the bases: Beginning phonograms (green cards) at first base, vowels (orange) at second base, and ending phonograms (red) at third base.

  • Get moving: Players race, hop, do silly walks, or invent creative movements between the bases. Big muscles, big energy—it’s all encouraged!

  • Grab the cards: At each base, pick up one card at random—no peeking.

  • Build the word: Back at home base, line the cards up—green on the left, orange in the middle, red on the right.

  • Score points: Sound out the word. If it’s a real word, score 1 point. If it’s a nonsense word, score 2 points!

👉 The twist? Nonsense words strengthen decoding skills even faster. Children laugh, move, and learn without even realizing they’re practicing.
